One Old, One New: The Abyss, Kick Ass
The Abyss(1989)
Defiantly one of my favourite James Cameron films. Re watching "The Abyss" this week reminded how well the film has aged.
Now with the news that Avatar 2 is going to oceans of Pandora, It will be brilliant to see him work wheres hes happiest at sea.It does sadly feature the classic radio that has no range, apart from the end when the lead character takes his leap of faith. Ed Harris really plays these roles so well.Three PointsUnder water mini sub chase just (worth watching just for this)

Guns, marines and the big blue seaVisually inspiring
Kick Ass (2010)
Starts a little slow but once the supporting actors pile in, really takes off. Surprising for a comedy features brilliant action scenes put to great soundtrack ( There bloody and show you fights)
Nice to see Nicolas Cage pull off decent film was getting worried he was going down Samuel L Jackson road. I did find the stick one mustache scene a little odd mind. My favorite character is cross between someone from the Matrix, Leon and Battle Royal. I leave you to work out who it is.Three Points Great supporting actors Good sound track Groovy ending
